Where is the GMT Tour Today? Mqy 14th, 2006

Once again in 2006 the Wild West made plans to work with Bernie Torme. How could we not again give it a shot considering that GMT, Guy Mccoy Torme, has taken shape complete wih a few shows in the UK, videos, and an album that should be out shortly. So we had to give the US Tour another shot. This time around we put together a letter of intent with Bernie and his bandmates and it was agreed that sometime in the fall this would fall into place.

The idea was simple, the tour would be funded by 100 fans who would kick in $100 each. The fans would get a laundry list of swag, ranging from boots, to DVDs, to a meet and greet with GMT, plus be part of one of the coolest tours of 2006. They had their swag and US Tour that is long overdue. As of mid-May we raised around $1000 with a handful of fans helping out and a few folks buying CDs and DVDs. Ideally we need another $9000.

So today we have put a hold on the dates but are searching sponsors, investors, and/ or fans who would be willing to make this happen. $10000 is an interesting number. On one hand it is a lot of money but on the other, it is not that much. I guess it is enough to be a challenge.

Stay tuned as we continue to work on this and even better, help the Wild West in making these shows happen.
