Sometimes Technology Sucks. . .

As you probably have noticed the site has been kind of attended to in the past few weeks. We have been updating it to some degree, but not like we intended. We have had a series of technical issues. Sadly we have had two Macintosh machines die in the last few weeks. First it was our Mac iBook, which just stopped working. That complicated things a bit, but the good news was that we had an old iMac that mirrored the whole site, and the Dreamweaver platform that we use to maintain it.

That was cool, until the iMac stopped working. Once again it no longer booted up. The iBook we brought to the genius bar at the Westchester Mall, but there was nothing that could be done. On the iMac, as we have had it for perhaps ten years now, I did not bother. Thinking about it now, I am surprised the iMac lasted as long as it has.

Oh the pleasures of technology. Well a few weeks later we are back. A new laptop - kind of sort of - new to me at least. Plus a desktop that has the latest edition of the full Adobe suite-Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash, etc. Had to figure out a few new features and things but not a dramatic change.

The more things change the more they stay the same.
