Paul McCartney?

Paul McCartney? What was I thinking? That was the topic of the last blog I wrote before I signed off two years back. Please understand I do love the man's stuff. He looked pretty good at the Queen's Jubilee show earlier this week. It was just not the way to sign off for a few years on this blog and all. It just reinforces that I needed a break. I was looking back to days long past when I was a kid in my mom's car. Simply a recollection, a nice one really, but not the key to this rambling blog and website. Not a note to pause on, and let resonate. No doubt a part of me, but not of this blog, at least not the intended or even dominant direction.

No doubt intended directions can wind up being distractions. Who actually knows until a good deal later what is or was the intent of anything, and what is or was a distraction. None the less, the blog tied to the Wild West is tied basically to loud annoying arrogant music. Maybe it is just a case of two years have passed and I so want to make this work.

So here we are, the Wild West website back up and running. Some of the acts that we had worked with are still here. There are others that I keep promising we will be doing something soon. Slowly but surely! Regardless, of the pace, just stay the course, build the site, refine that web radio station - get it so it does not buffer every minute or so. Load it with some newer music. Figure out how to make it a Droid and iPhone app. There is a bunch of shit to be done! And that home page so needs something!

Then there is that bar, the Rec Room. There is the Croton Reservoir. I need to get moving on these and others. At least start the conversation. Then there is Kickstarter. Would people want to fund an agency focused on Rock and Alternative acts in this day and age? Only one way to find out.

I am so done with Paul McCartney. Not really, but I do want to see what more can be done.
